AfricanChildMatters Terms & Conditions
Thank you for your interest in AfricanChildMatters! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) outline the rules that govern your interaction with our foundation.
1. Donations & Use of Funds:
- All donations to AfricanChildMatters are considered charitable contributions and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
- AfricanChildMatters reserves the discretion to allocate donations to its programs and initiatives as deemed most effective in achieving its charitable mission.
- Donors who wish to designate their contribution to a specific program should contact AfricanChildMatters directly. We will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests, but cannot guarantee them.
- AfricanChildMatters is committed to financial transparency. We will provide regular updates on how donations are used on our website and annual reports.
2. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

3. Modifications to Terms & Conditions

4. Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
5. Dispute Resolution
- Escalated Internal Review: This method involves a structured process within AfricanChildMatters to address concerns. Here’s how it could work:
- Initial Contact: The donor or concerned party first raises their issue with the program staff member they interacted with or the donations department.
- Review by Supervisor: If the issue isn’t resolved at the initial contact, it gets elevated to the program manager or supervisor for review and attempted resolution.
- Review by Board Committee: If the concern remains unresolved, there’s an option for a designated committee of the AfricanChildMatters Board to review the situation. This committee would involve individuals not directly involved in the initial dispute. They would gather information, hear from both parties, and propose a solution.
